Jay Around Town: Plans for Lakeside Village at Lakeside DFW

On August 24, Kevin Sloan Studio presented their plans for Lakeside Village, a 35-acre parcel located south of the Lakeside Tower, to the residents of Lakeside DFW.

Lakeside Village will feature up to seven lake-view restaurants, a north-south street filled with shops, sidewalk dining, single-family villa homes (approximately 3,000 sq ft in size) and residential towers. The developer is also finding ways to allow the public to enjoy views of nature and the lake by preserving 140+ existing trees and lake views.

The entire plaza will be at grade, but underneath will be a multi-level parking structure accommodating up to 450 vehicles. 

The plans also include an outdoor amphitheater and a central clubhouse for residents of Lakeside DFW, which will include a pool, workout room, and other party facilities. 

Construction on the plaza is expected to begin as early as Summer 2018, once they go through all the necessary zoning modifications, etc.
