Towns and cities around the country were ranked based on affordability, economic growth, and quality of life. And Flower Mound ranked so high thanks to its impressive job growth, excellent high school graduation rate, the flourishing Lakeside Business District, abundant recreational activities, and overall quality of life, including community events.

2. Flower Mound is only 15 minutes from DFW Airport and is centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth.

Flower Mound is an excellent suburban community for anyone with a job that requires a commute thanks to its central location between both Dallas and Fort Worth and the fact that it's only 15 minutes north of DFW Airport. Because of this, Flower Mound attracts many who work in either Downtown Dallas or Fort Worth, as well as those who work for the airlines industry.

3. Flower Mound has an amazing parks and recreation department.

Over the last few years, Flower Mound has worked hard upgrading all of its town parks, each with a different theme. One of our personal favorites is the aviation-themed playground at Lakewood Park!

There are also an abundance of amazing community events that happen throughout the year. One of the Town's most popular is Independence Fest which is held each July 4 and usually features an amazing headlining entertainer. In 2021 it was the Josh Abbott Band!

One of our favorite spots in town in Lakeside DFW where there are fantastic restaurants, local boutiques, exercise studios, and a Moviehouse & Eatery.

According to AceableAgent, Flower Mound has the second-fastest growing real estate market in Texas. They attribute this to Flower Mound's schools as well as it being a highly sought-after area.
