Grapevine

What better way to start our list than with the Christmas Capital of Texas®? And they even have the official declaration to prove it! During the months of November and December, you can enjoy 40 days of Christmas events, decorations, and magic. As you walk down Main Street, you'll love taking in the scenery of the sparkling lights, photo ops, and decorations. Some of our other favorite Grapevine Christmas attractions include:

• Classic Christmas Movies at The Palace Theatre

Grand Prairie

Grand Prairie is most well-known for its Prairie Lights drive-thru Christmas lights display that happens each year, but they have other fun holiday events and traditions you can get in on as well. Some of those include:

• Downtown Ice Rink

McKinney

Old Town McKinney is one of our favorite small towns to visit here in North Texas and at Christmas they host a Home for the Holidays celebration (usually Thanksgiving weekend) full of holiday magic. At the center of McKinney Square is the 34' Blue Spruce Christmas tree that they fundraise to bring in from Michigan each year. Other things you'll find in McKinney this time of year are:

Frisco

If you have been to Frisco lately, it may not feel so much like a "small town" anymore, but when it comes to Christmas, there are some small town traditions that still give it that cozy and homey feel. Here are just a couple of our favorite Frisco Christmas events:

Granbury

There is so much to do and see in the charming down of Granbury during Christmas and it perfectly exemplifies a small-town Christmas.
