Those of you who know me know that I am a lover and a supporter of the theatre of all kinds. I especially love supporting our local theatre companies here in DFW. If you've never had the opportunity to take in a show at any of these theaters, you should make plans to soon!

Repertory Company Theatre

650 N Coit Rd, Richardson TX 75080

I'm a little partial to the Repertory Company Theatre because I was an actor there for a couple of seasons! They are a nonprofit theatre that has been serving Richardson, North Dallas and Plano for the last 31 years. Each season they present Broadway musicals, classic plays and special presentations performed by their acclaimed REP Company. They also have a School of Musical Theatre which provides year-round education for children ages 7-18.

Pocket Sandwich Theatre

5400 East Mockingbird Ln, Dallas TX 75206

The Pocket Sandwich Theatre is a live dinner theatre in Dallas that opened in 1980. Order some dinner, a couple of drinks, and enjoy the show. It's a great place to have group events - if you choose to celebrate a birthday with them, the actors will sing happy birthday at the start of the show! But the best part is being able to participate in the show as the audience. You get to boo and hiss at the bad guys, cheer for the good guys, and you can even purchase a basket of popcorn for $.50 to throw at the actors and other patrons!
