The struggle of Summer is real here in Texas. You want to take the kids to the park so they can burn off energy, but it's so dang hot! Might we suggest you check out any of these parks with splash pads so they can burn off that energy while everyone can keep cool?

Doubletree Ranch Park (Highland Village)

310 Highland Village Rd, Highland Village TX 75077

There are three wet play sequence zones at the splash pad at Doubletree Ranch Park, including 15 water features and a water fall. The whole design of the splash pad is meant to mimic the natural flow of a creek. Other park amenities include walking trails, a pond, soccer fields, and a pavilion and a rentable barn for private events.

Starting Memorial Day, the splash pad will be open every day through August from 10:00am-8:00pm.

The spray ground is a new amenity at Carl Young Sr. Park and is open from 9am-8pm from May 10-September 30, 2019. The popular splash pad features a water-spinning flower and several other sprayers. After you're done cooling off, you can also enjoy the playground, basketball courts, and picnic tables.

Parr Park (Grapevine)
